Updating Your BlueCruise Maps
To get updates for your BlueCruise maps:
- Confirm automatic system updates are on and scheduled to be received daily.
- Confirm Vehicle Connectivity is on.
Troubleshooting Your BlueCruise Map Updates
If your maps are not updating or you are not receiving map updates, confirm if your map has an expiry date or a map part number.
Note: Instructions may vary. Refer to your Owner’s Manual for information specific to your vehicle.
- Select Settings using your vehicle's SYNC®** screen.
- Choose General.
- Tap About SYNC and scroll down to BlueCruise Map Expiration.
- If you see an expiry date, and it has passed, visit your preferred Lincoln Retailer to update your BlueCruise maps. If a retailer is not available in your area, visit a Ford Dealer.
- If you see a map part number, contact a Lincoln Concierge at 1-800-387-9333 or select Chat Now on the Contact Us page of lincolncanada.com.
Note: Although a BlueCruise map expiration date may display on the SYNC screen, you should not lose your hands-free highway driving capability as long as you have an active BlueCruise subscription.
