Will aftermarket modifications void my Lincoln warranty?
The installation or use of any aftermarket product will not necessarily void the New Vehicle Limited Warranty (NVLW) or Lincoln Protect Extended Service Plan (ESP). However, if the aftermarket product fails or causes a Lincoln part to fail, the cost of the repair and any related damage(s) are not covered by your Lincoln NVLW or ESP.
Lincoln does not recommend changes to our products. Modifications to your vehicle could result in it not meeting either the Environment Canada Vehicle Emission Standards or any applicable Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. For more information, refer to the Transport Canada website.
Only changes that have been thoroughly tested and approved by Lincoln Engineering should be considered. In this case, part numbers will be issued and parts made available for purchase through our Lincoln Retailers or Ford Dealers.
