Is every pre-owned Lincoln a Certified Pre-Owned Lincoln?
The fact is, not every Lincoln vehicle can make the cut as a Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. Only after an exhaustive selection process do we certify it.

Why should I consider a Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned luxury vehicle?
Three words – peace of mind. Before your vehicle is delivered, it receives a rigorous 172-point inspection. Any item(s) that does not pass our standards is replaced or repaired with a factory-authorized part. On top of that, every Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned vehicle comes with extended service plan ^* , optional upgrade coverage and other exclusive benefits.

What qualifies a vehicle to be Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned?
To qualify for certification, a vehicle must meet the requirements of one of the two CPO tiers:

Signature Tier

• Must not be older than current model year plus five model years
• An exhaustive 172-point inspection covering everything from exterior and interior to underhood and underbody areas is performed; any part(s) that doesn’t pass is repaired or replaced with a factory-authorized part
• Must be fewer than 130,000-kilometres on the odometer

• Must not be older than current model year plus five model years
• An exhaustive 172-point inspection covering everything from exterior and interior to underhood and underbody areas is performed; any part(s) that doesn’t pass is repaired or replaced with a factory-authorized part

Who certifies my Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned vehicle?
Each vehicle is thoroughly inspected by a team of factory-trained Lincoln technicians.

Where can I shop for Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned vehicles?
They are available exclusively at your participating Lincoln retailer.

Is financing available?
Yes, you can finance the purchase of your Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned vehicle through Lincoln Automotive Financial Services. It provides competitive incentives and offers.

How long is the extended service plan on my Lincoln Certified Signature Pre-Owned vehicle?
Coverage for all Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned vehicles includes repair or replacement of covered components. The duration of coverage is tailored to the specific certification level:
 

Lincoln Certified Select Pre-Owned vehicles receive coverage beginning at the date of plan purchase for 6 months or up to 10,000 kilometres, whichever occurs first.
 

Lincoln Certified Signature Pre-Owned vehicles benefit from extended coverage beginning at the date of plan purchase for 24 months or up to 40,000 kilometres, whichever occurs first.

For all Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned vehicles with a remaining New Vehicle Limited Warranty (NVLW), this extended service plan coverage will commence at the expiration of the Basic Coverage of the NVLW and conclude at the specified time or distance travelled limitation.

How comprehensive is my extended service plan?
Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned vehicles come with an extended service plan ^*  for the parts and labour to repair thousands of key components — engine, transmission, steering, brakes, front suspension, electrical, and more. Failure of covered components due to defects in materials and workmanship and normal wear and tear are included.

Does the extended service plan have a deductible?
Each Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned vehicle has a standard deductible of only $100 per repair.

Is additional coverage available?
Yes, on top of the included extended service plan, optional Lincoln Protect Extended Service Plan Packages are available.

If I sell my Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, does the service plan still apply?
With our extended service plan ^* , should you choose to sell your Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, the remaining Lincoln extended service plan remains in effect for the new owner. This is a little extra that could enhance the resale value.

What is included in my complimentary 24-Hour Roadside Assistance?

Lincoln Roadside Assistance¹⁰² is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and provides the benefits listed below:

• Towing
• Flat tire change
• Battery jump-start
• Fuel Delivery
• Lockout Assistance

Coverage Periods:
For vehicles purchased pre-owned, Lincoln Roadside Assistance covers for 6 years or 110,000 kilometres from the original new vehicle warranty start date, or the duration of the Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned service plan start date, whichever provides greater coverage. 

Note: 2012 model-year and older vehicles no longer qualify for Roadside Assistance.

Your Lincoln store will repair, replace or service all components covered under your vehicle’s extended service plan.
