What is the tire pressure monitoring system in my Lincoln?

When the tire pressure drops or exceeds the recommended acceptable pounds per square inch (PSI) range, the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensors located in each tire (excluding spare tires) will alert you by activating an indicator light on the instrument panel.

When the low tire pressure indicator illuminates, you should stop and check your tires as soon as possible, and inflate them to the Lincoln recommended tire pressure.

Important: The tire pressure monitoring system is not a substitute for manually checking tire pressures. You should periodically check tire pressures using a pressure gauge. Refer to your Owner's Manual for more information.

For more information about your vehicle's tire pressure monitoring system or tire sensors, refer to the video below or the Wheels and Tire section of your vehicle's Owner's Manual. If you have a concern with your vehicle, contact your Lincoln Retailer or Ford Dealer to have your vehicle serviced.
