Why is my spare tire different from the other tires on my Lincoln?

Depending on the year and model, your vehicle may be equipped with a non-matching spare wheel and tire assembly, which can be different in brand, size, or appearance from the road tires and wheels, or with a spare tire the same size as your regular tires.

If you have a spare wheel and tire, it is intended for temporary use only. If you need to use it, you should replace it as soon as possible with a tire the same size and type as the tires and wheels originally provided by Lincoln. A damaged spare tire must be replaced when damaged.

For more information on your spare tire, refer to the Wheels and Tires section of your Owner's Manual.
