Why are the Third Row PowerFold Seats not working in my 2025 Lincoln Navigator?

Some 2025 model year Lincoln Navigator owners may experience an issue in which the third-row seats do not respond to the vehicle's power seat buttons. If your vehicle is having this concern, refer to the troubleshooting steps below.

The Third Row PowerFold seats* allow you to automatically fold the vehicle's third-row seats to different positions using the vehicle's power seat buttons. See your Owner's Manual for more information about the Third Row PowerFold seats feature, if needed.

Restoring the Third-Row Seat Functionality

  1. Remove anything from the second- and third-row seats that may physically block the third-row seats from folding.
  2. Slide the second-row seats all the way forward.
  3. Start your vehicle.
  4. Open the liftgate.
  5. Press and hold the center button (B) within the power seat button panel for up to 1 minute. Within that minute, the seats should move and then stop. Then, hold it down for 5 more seconds before releasing it.

Note: The power seat button panel is usually located on the passenger's side of the vehicle, near the armrest of the third-row seat. However, the location of the power seat button panel and the buttons' appearance can vary by the vehicle's trim level. If you need assistance locating the panel, see your vehicle's Owner's Manual for the panel's specific location.

Once the center button is released, the Third Row PowerFold seat feature should work.

If the Third Row PowerFold seat feature still does not work, an over-the-air software update will be coming soon to fix this issue.
