How do I adjust the cabin temperature in my Lincoln when using the remote start feature?

You can set your vehicle's interior temperature for remote starting using your vehicle's touchscreen. When remotely starting your vehicle, the Lincoln app will use the climate settings you established with Digital Experience or SYNC®*.

Setting Remote Start Cabin Temperature

Select Digital Experience or your SYNC generation from the drop-down options below for instructions. If you need assistance determining the generation of your SYNC system, select the first drop-down option.

Either:

  • Enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and select Check for update.
  • Log in with your Lincoln credentials, choose a vehicle from your garage, and select Check for updates.

Your SYNC generation will appear on the right side of the page.

Digital Experience

  1. Press the Vehicle icon on your vehicle's Digital Experience screen.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Select Driver Assistance.
  4. Press Remote start set up.
  5. Tap Climate control.
  6. Select one of the following menu options:
    • Auto: The system sets the interior temperature to 22°C and heats or cools the vehicle interior as required to achieve comfort. In cold weather, the heated rear window and heated mirrors turn on.
    • Last Settings: The system uses the settings last selected before you turned off the vehicle. If the climate controls are turned off when the vehicle is shut down, they will not engage on remote start when you choose Last Settings.

SYNC 4

  1. Tap the Settings or the Home icon on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  2. Select Vehicle Settings.
  3. Tap Remote Start Setup.
  4. Press Climate Control.
  5. Select one of the following menu options:
    • Auto: The climate control system automatically sets the interior temperature to 22°C and heats or cools the vehicle interior as required to achieve comfort.
    • Last Settings: The climate control system automatically uses the settings last selected before your vehicle was turned off.  If the climate controls are turned off when the vehicle is shut down, they will not engage on remote start when you choose Last Settings.

  1. Tap Settings on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  2. Select Vehicle Settings.
  3. Choose Remote Start Setup.
  4. Press Climate Control.
