Standard 12-way adjustable front seats, adjustable pedals and power tilt/telescoping steering wheel allow you to easily find your comfort zone every time you take the wheel.
The seat cushions, head restraints and seat backs are made with soy foam, which has a lower environmental impact than petroleum-based foams. In addition, the soy-based materials deliver excellent performance and offer equivalent comfort and durability.
A new heated steering wheel is a welcome option for drivers who live in colder climates. This feature can raise the wheel rim's surface temperature from minus 20 degrees Celsius (minus 4 degrees Farenheit) to 23°C (74°F) in five minutes.
Improving quietness, additional noise barriers and absorbers are placed in the front wheel wells, around the shock towers, under the hood and in the trunk. Redesigned exterior rearview mirrors reduce wind noise.
What Luxury Feels Like
Sourced from Scotland, Bridge of Weir leather also can be found in luxury jets, yachts and furniture. Connoisseurs of fine materials appreciate these leathers for their natural beauty. Plus, the Bridge of Weir company uses a unique organic tanning method which produces a material free of chromium – making it one of the most environmentally friendly, and fully recyclable, leathers available. French and Deck seams on all seats add to the interior's high level of finish.
Sit Back, Relax. It's Going to Be a Smooth Ride.
With best-in-class legroom*, the standard 60/40 split fold-flat bench seat with heated outboard sections is the perfect place to catch up with a friend. Side window sunshades help keep the interior from getting too bright. And tri-zone electronic automatic temperature control lets passengers choose their comfort level.
For even more comfort, available heated and cooled second-row bucket seats feature power lumbar and can fold and tumble at the touch of a button. An available refrigerated centre console allows everyone to cool off with an ice-cold beverage. It can even freeze items down to a frosty -5°C (23°F). Get ready to chill.
Second-row outboard passengers – often children or mature passengers – can benefit from available inflatable rear belts, a segment first. These advanced restraints spread impact forces across more than five times the area of conventional safety belts, reducing pressure on the chest while helping to control head and neck motion.

First Class, Three Rows Deep
Those in MKT's third row are not immune to its charms. Best-in-class legroom* provides the space your passengers desire, while a standard fixed glass Vista Roof™ allows a view that's far from ordinary. For cargo, the 50/50 split-bench seat folds flat into the floor. A PowerFold® third-row seat in the available Elite Package makes it even more effortless. Hands-free Communication and Music
The next generation of the award-winning SYNC system is even easier to use and more robust in its operation. New, simpler screen designs improve the user interface while larger, bolder fonts make it easier to read. SYNC's voice recognition experience, powered by Nuance, has also been improved. SYNC has evolved from a stand-alone module for communication and entertainment to become a fully integrated operating system for Lincoln vehicles with MyLincoln Touch.*

Smart to the Touch
The integration of MyLincoln Touch to the new MKT complements Lincoln's most advanced instrumentation and controls to date.
The main instruments feature a central speedometer flanked by two full-colour reconfigurable LCD screens. Content for the 4.2-inch LCDs is controlled by five-way buttons on the steering wheel. An 8-inch multi-function LCD touch screen dominates the centre stack and provides the control interface for entertainment, communication, navigation and climate systems.
Get In and Go.
Buckle in, depress the brake pedal and push a button. As long as the Intelligent Access Key is somewhere in the vehicle, starting the engine is just that easy.
Hear What You've Been Missing
The new MKT offers two audio systems, both controlled through MyLincoln Touch. The standard system includes AM/FM/CD/MP3/satellite sources playing through a 210-watt system that drives eight speakers.
The optional system is the THX® II Certified Car Audio System that brings home theater sound to the open road. The 700-watt system plays through 14 strategically aimed premium audio speakers. Sources include AM/FM/CD6/DVD/MP3 plus an auxiliary input jack and a USB port. SiriusXM® satellite radio with six-month prepaid subscription is standard*. With SiriusXM Satellite Radio get the best in audio entertainment including 100% commercial-free music from every genre, world-class news, sports, comedy and entertainment. MyLincoln Touch and SYNC enable available voice-activated navigation control.

Included in the available Elite Package, the voice-activated Navigation System features sophisticated speech-recognition software that makes control incredibly easy. Just say the name of your destination while driving, and a course is plotted. In Route Guidance mode, upcoming street names are called out. A bird's-eye view includes on-screen landmarks for additional reference.
See What You Can't
When you put MKT in reverse, the standard rearview camera provides a video image of the area behind your vehicle on an eight-inch colour touch screen. Sight lines even give you a handy reference point as you're backing up. It's always worth a look.
