Front-seat side airbags join the adaptive driver and front-passenger front airbags of our class-exclusive Personal Safety System® and the side-curtain airbags of our patented three-row Safety Canopy® System. This system features larger air bags that provide enhanced head protection for first-, second-, and third-row passengers in certain side-impact collisions. It also features roll-fold technology that enables the air bag to slip between the window and a passenger's head.

AdvanceTrac® with RSC® (Roll Stability Control™)* is the industry's only electronic stability control system with two gyroscopic sensors – one of which is a unique vehicle-roll motion sensor that directly measures the vehicle's roll rate 100 times every second. Working in conjunction with the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), traction control and yaw control, AdvanceTrac with RSC uses the roll rate and other information to automatically determine when and how it will apply individual brakes and/or modify engine power to help keep all four wheels of Lincoln MKS firmly planted.
